ORIENTATION TO TIME
The future is the most important to me. I follow a day by day hour by hour schedule and I am always looking to the future. I am always planning something new. Each day that I wake up I focus on planning or changing the future. I feel that always spending time talking or thinking about the past is a waste of perfectly useable time. You cannot change the past; you cannot work in the past. You can work on today to change the future.
ORIENTATION TO ACTIVITY
My compass showed doing and becoming as equal. I think that it takes the doing to get the becoming. We are so focused on what we want to become that we are willing to through in all the work and effort in the doing to get there. I am very busy all the time doing something. I am always working towards what I want. By going to school, “doing” my work and focusing on everything right now is going to get me where I want to “become”.
ORIENTATION TO NATURE
I feel that we live in harmony with the forces of nature. I think we cannot control them but with all of our advancement we can prepare for them. There is no controlling mother nature there is only simply co living with. I do not believe in spirits affecting the human world. I am not religious, I do not believe there are haunting or ghost set out to mess with us. As science has discovered the Y gene, it simply suggest that some people are born evil or mean but I personally believe that it also has a lot to do with your upbringing and surroundings. Just like with most things in life you are the product of your environment.
ORIENTATION TO HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS
I received the highest score in individualistic. A large part of my culture is being individual as well as a part of a group. My culture is very excepting of uniqueness and individualization.
In my culture I believe everyone is equal but some just have more responsibility so that are tilted. No one person is greater than another, no one person is of more value than another. At work you boss deserves a higher respect with the more responsibilities he/she has but how ever life to life they are equal to you.
In my Culture the language distinction is different from many others. Because I associate my culture to U.S. American that means there are many other languages from all over the world spoken.
